With club hits such as "Disco Demons" or "Strobe Love" the band around charismatic singers Suzy On The Rocks and Christian Fuchs made the playlists of many globally renowned star DJs. This globetrotting brought on further cosmopolitan connections. It led to remixes by Japanese electro superstars, various luminaries from the Brazilian Baile Funk scene and DJ-hipsters from Australia and London. Various soundtrack contributions followed including one for the successful horror movie “Dead In Three Days 2“, videos were shot in both Berlin and New York. After two albums that daringly mixed distorted rave references with gloomy electro sounds, the band and their regular producer Christopher Just (Kitsunè, Chicks On Speed) decided to launch themselves into the wonderful adventure that is pop. The resulting single, the catchy "Into The Future", promptly made many alternative charts. In the fall of 2009 BUNNY LAKE wins Austria's most coveted and prestigious music award, the Amadeus, in the category Electronic/Dance in the face of stiff competition. Which is what brings us to BUNNY LAKE’s debut for Universal Music, ”The Beautiful Fall“.
