Snowgoons，團體最初由Det和DJ Illegal組成，到了2006年團體又迎來了Torben和DJ Waxwork，Snowgoons的作品都是英文作品，所以不是通常意義上的Foreign Rap（外來說唱）。最早在一個叫做SMD Neo-Ho廠牌下發行了一張叫做《Clip Full of Ammo》的專輯，2007年在美國紐約說唱廠牌Babygrande下發行了他們的第一張專輯《German Lugers》（筆者譯：德國啤酒），2008年又在同廠牌下發行了《Black Snow》（筆者譯：黑色之雪），Snowgoons的作品走著滿足純紐約式Hardcore樂迷的路線，樂迷們經常拿他們和Wu-Tang Clan相提并論，但卻比同類Hardcore來得更加的“狠”。這是一張被忽視的專輯，在美國評價很低，甚至連AMG都沒有評分。既然專輯是在美國紐約的廠牌下發行的，那么就絕對有著強勁的客串陣容，沒錯，這張擁有18首歌的專輯，首首都有客串，Celph Titled, Sean Price, Jus Allah, Chief Kamachi, MED, Rasco, Wise Intelligent等地下大牌們為Snowgoons譜寫了一篇優秀的作品。 　　鋼琴聲響起了，優美的副歌中透著怪異扭曲的聲音，隨著普遍的“報名字”工程后，在副歌的結伴下，節奏馬上由優美轉為生硬的鋼琴聲搭配的鼓點，每段結尾處還會出現之前副歌中的怪異扭曲的聲音，就這樣，非常狠的“Heads Ar Tails”結束了。接下來一段談話后，“Who What When Where”隨之啟動，交響樂的采樣音色在這里表現的非常好，每到高潮，就會出現非常狠的、怒吼般的聲線，依次喊著“Who”、“What”、“When”、“Where”。用前2首歌來詮釋整張專輯，雖顯有點牽強附會，但當聽了前4首歌后，就確定了整張專輯的基調了。熟悉德國啤酒的朋友應該知道，在德國，除制造出口啤酒外，國內銷售啤酒一概不使用輔助原料，而在美國紐約的Snowgoons就像出口的德國啤酒一樣，在原有的德國Hip-Hop元素上結合了美國Hip-Hop元素，Snowgoons通過專輯名字向人們闡述著《German Lugers》的中心思想。Snowgoons是怎么做到此般可以和Wu-Tang Clan媲美的“狠”味？脫離主流的說唱真的會走出商業化這個胡同嗎？Snowgoons給了你答案，被忽視的地下Hip-Hop圈里，總有對主流Hip-Hop驚天一擊的東西。
