《The Spirit Of Mesa Verde 佛得角臺地》是 David Arkenstone 和 Diane Arkenstone 共同的項目 Ah Nee Mah 阿尼瑪 系列的第一張專輯。佛得角是位于非洲最西端的岬角，位于塞內加爾西部。因此這張專輯有著濃厚的非洲風格。大量非洲部落音樂元素和采樣，配上夫妻二人妙手天成的編曲，頓時不再單調，展現出豐富多彩的生命力，很好的詮釋了非洲大陸的原始氣息和旺盛活力。另外一方面，總共10軌的樂曲也向聽者描繪了佛得角在不同時候的景觀，時而恢弘大氣、時而幽暗神秘、時而激越昂揚、時而清風絮雨……如此種種，無不讓人的心靈隨著音樂的起伏進入神游天外。

一直為 David Arkenstone 和 Diane Arkenstone 這對夫妻最后的離異感到惋惜，聽著他們共同創作的音樂真的是一種莫大的享受，David Arkenstone 的雄渾與 Diane Arkenstone 的柔美總能很好的調和在一起。可惜物是人非，只希望聽到更多他們的優秀作品，也就不枉此生了。
