《狼人》這一版配樂由 Conrad Pope作曲。勞倫斯·塔爾伯特（本尼西奧·德爾·托羅 Benicio Del Toro 飾）因幼時的悲痛記憶，離家多年并與家人鮮有聯系。一日，在倫敦演出的勞倫斯被弟弟本杰明的未婚妻格溫·康利弗（艾米莉·布朗特 Emily Blunt 飾）找到，康利弗告訴勞倫斯本杰明慘死的消息，并請求他回家鄉黑色荒野進行調查。勞倫斯重新回到幼時生活的地方，此行他不僅想找出殺害弟弟的兇手，而且希望揭開母親當年慘死父親懷中的真相。記憶中宛如世外桃源般的黑色荒野因為接連有人受襲身亡而陷入恐慌，關于月圓之夜出現的怪物更是眾說紛紜。調查中勞倫斯終于親眼見到傳說中的怪物——狼人，在追殺狼人的過程中，勞倫斯不幸被咬傷。傷愈之后的勞倫斯感到自己的體內開始產生變化，關于被狼人咬傷后將變成狼人的傳說應驗在了勞倫斯的身上……
