此片原聲配樂由 Stewart Copeland 作曲。《死神有約》（Dead Like Me）是由Ellen Muth和Mandy Patikin主演的美國喜劇，講述一群生活在華盛頓州西雅圖死神的故事。節目由Showtime電視臺的Brayan Fuller操刀制作。2003年首播，2004年停播，共播出兩個季度。因制作理念上的分歧，主創Fuller制作完5集之后離開了劇組。他后來制作了《靈指神探》（Pushing Daisies）并與他人共同出品了《瀑布驚情》（Wonderfalls）。他離開后由執行制作人John Masius接管。經歷了漫長停播后，科幻頻道已于2007年11月30日開始在每周二晚上進行重播。并預定在2008年夏天發售一部只通過DVD發行的電影版，如果這部電影獲得成功，該劇或許將重新開始制作。節目的主人公是18歲的Georgia Lass她同時也作旁白。George在第一集就早早死去，留下她悲傷的母親和其他親人，不過生前他們之間關系并不融洽。她成為了一個“不死者”，一個死神（Grim Reaper）。George了解到死神的工作就是在人們剛死的時候收取他們的靈魂，并護送靈魂到死后的世界。節目講述了一隊以Rube為首死神的“生”活和經歷，還有“死”去的George和她家人的故事。
