18年后，當(dāng)年因演唱會(huì)滋攏事件入獄的愛伍德終于出獄，但是昔日好友杰克已去逝，為了實(shí)現(xiàn)當(dāng)年巡回的演唱夢(mèng)想，他找到了一名十歲的孤兒巴斯特與酒保麥克，重組了藍(lán)調(diào)兄弟樂團(tuán)，打算南下路易西安那州，參加一場(chǎng)藍(lán)調(diào)樂團(tuán)的比賽。但是路途中，他們卻被警方、莫斯科黑手黨追趕，一路上驚險(xiǎn)汽車追逐場(chǎng)面不斷，最后藍(lán)調(diào)兄弟合唱團(tuán)是否能在這場(chǎng)藍(lán)調(diào)音樂競(jìng)技會(huì)上一炮而紅呢？
