繼2003年11月30日，《波斯王子:時之沙》大獲成功之后，2004年11月30日，波斯王子系列的第二部作品《波斯王子:武者之心》重新回歸，這次的回歸將繼承本系列的一貫特征，嘆為觀止的動作系統(tǒng)和大大增強的戰(zhàn)斗系統(tǒng)，兩者在完美結(jié)合后，為玩家重新詮釋了“高自由戰(zhàn)斗”的真締。在前作大受好評的卡通式美術(shù)風格畫面不復(fù)存在后，《波斯王子:武者之心》采用了新的畫面風格，帶有黑暗味道的美術(shù)設(shè)計、異教氣息的重金屬搖滾，都使得這款新作充滿前所未有的新鮮感。不論是魔物的造型或斬殺敵人時的血腥與爽快程度，都是本作強調(diào)的重點。
