由著名華人導演李安執導的《理智與情感 Sense and Sensibility》一片，將簡奧斯汀描寫十八世紀英國女性愛情與婚姻的同名名著搬上銀幕。導演通過鏡頭給我們展示了兩對終成眷屬的情侶，更是將當時婦女們的日常生活狀況、聚餐、舞會和社交等各種場合完美復原，帶我們回到那個充滿鋼琴曲、詩歌和愛情，同時婚姻又被金錢左右，顯得格外現實的年代。
　　
這部電影以其緊湊、跌宕起伏的劇情、凄美悠揚的電影配樂、演員們的出色表演，獲得了第六十八屆奧斯卡六項提名，雖然最終只拿到最佳改編劇本獎，但這是我最喜歡的名著改編電影之一。由英國作曲家Patrick Doyle執筆的原聲配樂更是本片的一個亮點，古典悠揚的音樂，配合李安導演獨特的鏡頭視角，精確美妙地傳達了劇中每個人物的感情。
