鐵拳 暗黑復蘇》是PSP平臺首款3D格斗大作，PSP版的《鐵拳》命名為《鐵拳 暗黑復蘇（TEKKEN DARK RESURRECTION）》，這一名稱與街機版鐵拳最新作《鐵拳 5 暗黑復蘇》的副標題完全相同，應該是街機版的移植作品。在公布的登場人物中，我們看到一位在《鐵拳5 暗黑復蘇》中未曾公布過的，估計就是PSP的原創新角色。這名角色的登場也讓我們充分領略到了NAMCO的惡搞能力，這名角色是一頭白熊，原本是三島平八飼養的寵物，白熊憑借著自己的聰明智慧，領悟了三島平八的武學精髓，居然自創了新武學“平八流熊真拳改”來參加鐵拳大會，這樣的設定實在讓人忍俊不禁。除了這名新角色外，三島一八，吉光，雷武龍，李超狼等老牌人物都會悉數登場。
