身處異國(guó)他鄉(xiāng)，面對(duì)陌生的面孔、語(yǔ)言和風(fēng)土人情，更容易經(jīng)歷不可思議的生活轉(zhuǎn)變。作為一個(gè)隱姓埋名的美國(guó)殺手，喬在去泰國(guó)履行一系列的殺人合同時(shí)，同樣遭遇了沒(méi)辦法預(yù)期得到的生命中的轉(zhuǎn)折。

喬天生擁有做殺手的潛質(zhì)，他那冷酷無(wú)情、不達(dá)目的誓不罷休的作風(fēng)更是讓他在這個(gè)行業(yè)中小有名氣。喬這一次來(lái)到曼谷，要執(zhí)行的是4個(gè)人的死亡命令，而花錢(qián)雇傭他的人，則是一個(gè)更加殘忍的罪犯頭頭蘇拉特。為了保險(xiǎn)起見(jiàn)，蘇拉特還特別找來(lái)一個(gè)名叫剛的街頭混混，名義上是供喬差遣，實(shí)則是為自己通風(fēng)報(bào)信，在喬完成任務(wù)之后，為了掩蓋其殺人痕跡，好殺喬滅口。

也許命運(yùn)就喜歡以這種古怪的方式去作弄世人，一直以“獨(dú)行俠”自居的喬，卻在和剛相處的過(guò)程中不自覺(jué)地承擔(dān)起了“導(dǎo)師”的責(zé)任，不僅如此，他還愛(ài)上了一個(gè)在當(dāng)?shù)氐纳痰昀锂?dāng)售貨員的啞女芳……也許是進(jìn)一步受到了曼谷那容易讓人著迷的異域風(fēng)情的支配，喬開(kāi)始質(zhì)疑自己的殺手身份，思想上的轉(zhuǎn)變自然也讓他延誤了這一次背負(fù)的暗殺任務(wù)，蘇拉特毫不猶豫地下達(dá)了殺無(wú)赦的指令，他要用喬的死來(lái)清理門(mén)戶(hù)。
